- I love the word "wabi sabi". It comes from a Japanese aesthetic which is finding beauty in imperfection. I try to apply this idea whenever I make my own artwork. For example, I put little details on the parts where I think are less important, therefore interrupt my message to the reader, in order to emphasize the dominant in the painting.
